Hi, I am Sue Coles and it’s my passion to inspire and develop young talent to become employable when they leave education and individuals who are seeking a career change.
After spending 20 years working for HSBC Bank, working in the retail and commercial divisions I found my passion in training & development. I travelled the UK training the staff in customer service & sales, team dynamics and developing the leadership team in sales coaching and leadership skills.
I became the Graduate Recruitment and Development Manager for the banks largest national graduate programme in the UK. I was responsible for employing and developing 150 graduates a year onto a 2 year programme and I loved every minute.
Over the last 10 years I have recruited over 800 graduates and school leavers identified from thousands of applications. I realise there are some useful tips I can pass on to help you become employable and secure the job you really want.
As well as 20 year career working for the second largest bank in the world, I have experience of working with companies across industries including the legal, engineering, Investment banking and retail sectors. Either working with companies to develop and improve their talent strategy or designing and delivering training on topics such as leadership development, personal branding, customer service and soft skills.
I also provide coaching to individuals to help them uncover their passions and strengths and provide the tools and techniques to give them confidence to secure the job they really want.
I believe everyone has a talent and it’s my job to help them discover it.
Carpe Vita was borne from my desire to inspire people to ‘Seize Life’ – influencing the decisions they make in their personal lives and throughout their career.
I had a Carpe Vita moment when I flew out to Beijing to trek the Great Wall of China for charity. To read more about my story, click here…
